Niamh Baker is a Glasgow-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, available for function work, session performances, dep work, songwriting, workshops and private tuition. Performing on vocals, guitar, ukulele and keyboard, she is a versatile musician who enjoys working across a wide range of styles and is committed to delivering engaging, professional performances.
As the frontwoman of Glasgow DIY indie band Moonsoup, Niamh has extensive live performance experience at festivals including Kelburn Garden Party, Eden Festival, Doune the Rabbit Hole and Stag and Dagger, as well as with Sofar Sounds Glasgow. The band has also opened for acclaimed touring artists including Water From Your Eyes, Porridge Radio and Brogeal, while regularly self-promoting and organising their own live shows across Scotland.
Moonsoup's original music blends post-rock, dream pop and indie folk, drawing inspiration from artists such as Wolf Alice, Julia Jacklin, Angel Olsen and Big Thief.
Alongside original performances, Niamh also offers tailored sets of pop, soul and folk covers for weddings, private events and functions, available as a solo act, duo or full band.
